Dual band RF repeaters amplify two frequency bands in one managed unit. As a result, a single installation can improve, for example, 4G capacity on one band and 5G NR coverage on another, using one donor path and one service antenna system.
The range is organised by band pair. Available combinations include Band 1 with Band 3 (1800/2100 MHz), Band 1 with Band 8 (900/2100 MHz), Band 3 with Band 7 (1800/2600 MHz), Band 3 with Band 8 (900/1800 MHz) and Band 28 with Band 3 (700/1800 MHz). For 4G/5G sites, there are also pairs that combine n78 with Band 1, Band 3 or Band 41.
Models range from 13 dBm digital pico repeaters and 17 to 20 dBm digital mini repeaters for small indoor areas, through 30 dBm power repeaters, to 40 dBm digital high power repeaters for larger buildings. Most dual band models in this group use digital filtering, which allows the passband to be configured per band. Exact values are listed in each datasheet.
In practice, mini and pico repeaters typically serve a single floor or a group of rooms, while high power units suit large indoor areas or outdoor coverage extension.
However, the antennas and passive components must support both bands. For sites that need one band only, see our single band RF repeaters. For three bands, see triple band repeaters, or browse all cellular RF repeaters.
This depends on the model and its filter configuration, and it always requires approval from the operators involved.
Yes. The n78 pairs combine a 5G NR band with an LTE band. Check the datasheet for the supported bandwidth.
Compare the frequency ranges, output power per band, gain and number of digital filters in each datasheet.
Ask our engineers which band pair fits your project.
