5G n77, n78 3.3-4.2 GHz 10W Multi-Carrier Solid State Power Amplifier
The EMTS Telecom Services Ltd. MCPA-3750-40W50 is a wideband multi-carrier power amplifier designed for LTE-Advanced and 5G NR TDD radio systems operating across the 3.3 to 4.2 GHz frequency range, covering 3GPP NR band n77 and the n78 frequency range. The amplifier employs an advanced wideband Doherty architecture and high-linearity RF power devices to provide high gain, efficient operation at output-power back-off, low distortion, and stable amplitude and phase performance across the operating band. The MCPA is engineered to amplify high-PAPR, multi-carrier OFDM waveforms and is optimized for use with digital predistortion, DPD, to achieve low Error Vector Magnitude, EVM, and Adjacent Channel Leakage Ratio, ACLR, under demanding LTE and 5G NR operating conditions. Fast transmit enable and disable switching supports TDD operation. The rugged machined enclosure, integrated EMI/RFI filtering, qualified components, advanced thermal management, and protection circuitry provide stable and reliable operation over an ambient wide temperature range.
